About the Role
Position Summary:
The Front Desk Coordinator is the first point of contact for our families, volunteers, and guests. This role sets the tone for a welcoming and supportive environment and is essential to the smooth operation of our nonprofit daycare center. You’ll manage day-to-day administrative tasks, answer inquiries, assist with scheduling and record-keeping, and help ensure all visitors feel respected and cared for
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Greet families, children, staff, and community members with warmth and professionalism
Answer phones, return voicemails, and respond to emails in a timely, courteous manner
Maintain visitor logs, sign-in sheets, and security protocols
Support administrative staff with filing, document preparation, and intake paperwork
Track child sign-in/out times and provide support to families with check-in procedures
Manage supply orders, mail, and front desk organization
Assist with scheduling appointments, tours, and parent meetings
Support enrollment, attendance tracking, and compliance documentation
Represent Little Wings Foundation’s values of compassion, dignity, and integrity
Qualifications:
High School diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
Previous experience in reception, administrative assistance, or customer service
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
Professional demeanor and ability to manage sensitive situations with confidentiality
Tech proficiency in Microsoft Office and email communication
Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced setting
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus but not required
