Position Summary:
The Floater / Support Staff is a versatile and vital member of our team who steps in wherever needed to ensure smooth daily operations. From assisting in classrooms to helping with meals or cleaning tasks, this role is perfect for someone who is flexible, team-oriented, and passionate about making a difference in children’s lives. No two days are the same—but every day is meaningful.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Support multiple classrooms as needed, providing extra hands and supervision
Assist with child transitions, including drop-off, pick-up, meals, and nap time
Step in for staff breaks or when extra support is needed in high-energy times
Help set up and clean learning stations, classrooms, and outdoor play areas
Engage positively with children during structured and unstructured activities
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment throughout the facility
Assist with light cleaning, sanitizing, organizing, and classroom prep
Provide support during special events, celebrations, or staff shortages
Follow daily schedules and routines set by Lead Teachers or Directors
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required
Previous experience working with children is a plus, but not required—training is provided
Must be dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working with various age groups
CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
Ability to follow directions and remain calm in a fast-paced setting
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine care for children and families
Must pass a fingerprint clearance and background check
